Stability in an unstable world

Formic acid (China)

Технические характеристики
Рекомендуемое применение

Basically, formic acid is used as a preservative and antibacterial agent in forage conservation. Formic acid is also used in mordant dyeing of wool and fabrics, to fight parasites in beekeeping, as a solvent in some chemical reactions, as a coagulant in rubber making and other industrial processes.

When processing leather at different stages, use of formic acid leads to both the preservation of the elasticity of the material and its uniform colour.

Acid is also used during the dyeing phase, ensuring excellent fixation of the dyes and maintaining the required pH level.
